Addicted to Minecraft

Fucking a, I can't get enough of it! I used to run a server for the classic version a while back, don't get me wrong, still fun, but nowhere near as fun as the real game itself. Just getting to use the basic things like the crafting tools, torches and doors was enough to start getting me hooked. The recent piston update is really bad ass, and makes it really easy to have hidden doors, secret passageways and other really cool shit. My brother and I currently have a server, and anybody is allowed to join it by going to "dirtsmoke.no-ip.org". You will have to be listed to build, though.

I've still been at Terraria, too! My laptop recently just decided to take a shit on me after installing Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (Stay away from that fucking shit!). Of all the things to fuck my computer up, it's an official update... heh, go figure. Anyway, I'm just sort of waiting on the new Terraria update. The team always seems to surprise us with something cool!

I guess I'm going to finally dust off my 360, and try out Total Miner. Just heard about this on Reddit, I wonder if it would be worth it?

Emulation + PSP HBL

Been a lil' bit since an update. That last update was just a depressed rant, lol.

Anyway, let's see here. I've been getting back into emulators recently mainly due to the Patapon2 hbl hack for the PSP. This allows users to run homebrews on 6.20 firmware... Which is sadly the firmware I've had for a while since I got my PSP just last year. :(

I've also been playing some Final Fantasy 4. I've wanted to get into FF for a while but never really knew of a good place to start other than just playing I-(whatever number they're at now).

Ehh, anyway...yeah.

Dirt Smoke is down and undergoing some changes as well. We're no longer going to be the "community about anything and everything".

Wow, already 2010...

Already another year gone. It's crazy how when you get older, days seem so shorter, eh? Growing up almost seems to take no time anymore, and you eventually find yourself growing out of things you used to like.

Anyway, aside the stoner talk, a lot of crazy shit happened this year, celebrity-wise. Fawcett, Swayze, Mays, Jackson, Murphy... I missed others, but these seemed most crazy to me. I thought it was really awesome how Patrick Swayze was using medical marijuana for his cancer, just the fact that it was sort of publicly announced.

What else happened this year... OH! Modern Warfare 2 came out. It's without a doubt in my opinion, GOTY. The game just doesn't seem to get boring. I admit, I'm getting a bit tired of the stock maps, but I know they're going to be releasing a/some map pack(s) soon. Just a matter of time!

Balloon Boy, anyone? Lmao. EVERYBODY should know this was a hoax by now. If you don't, you're a retard.

First black president! Yeah! A little different at first, but, as I figured, wouldn't be nothing new. Our country is still doing shitty, and I'm pretty sure nothing has "changed". Honestly, I don't care much about politics, so, I want to make it 100% clear I'm not putting Obama down, just stating the truth.

Shit, I think that about sums it up for all I cared about this year. Happy New Year EVERYONE!

READY TO GRUB

I don't know if I'll have anything interesting to post about between now and Thanksgiving, but, as of now, the only thing on my mind is Thanksgiving.

Worth A Blog Post

Ahhhh, football was fucking great today. The Dallas @ Denver game was amazing.

Now, let me start of by saying that I am a Eagles fan. I was born in Oklahoma, and sadly, we don't have a pro football team, just college teams. I sort jumped on the Denver bandwagon after moving to Colorado, they're basically my second favorite team now, and yes, it's because I live here.

Anyway, I have a few friends in Oklahoma that are Dallas fans, so, this game almost felt like a superbowl to me... or at least a playoff game. The game seemed slow-paced, and Dallas held the lead for a while, but Denver came back, and won that shit. Dallas almost came right back and tied it up for OT though, and they got close, really really close.

It was a great game and I HAD to write a blog post about it. It had some significant meaning... that, and anytime Dallas and Philadelphia meet!

FIRST POST! (CAPS)

Well, let's get this shit started, shall we? I have no clue what this is going to be about, but, anyway...

I can't wait until the 360 update with Facebook, Last.fm and Twitter! It feels like I've been waiting forever since they first showed us a glimpse of the shit, now I can't wait to try it all out. I actually got to beta test the most recent update (The gold membership for so many years thing, the new added avatar props, etc...) and it was pretty bad ass. Hopefully MS will let some people beta test this next release too.

Hurry that shit up! Microsoft!

Also, Quake LIVE fucking owns. It's quake, but it can be played in a browser, with your friends and all! Shawn Caution told me about it, and I'm fucking glad he did, the game is awesome! My name on there is Ar4vix. I fucked up the first time on my email part of the registration somehow mysteriously, and I couldn't get my original "Aravix" name, so, I had to settle with this name.

The Aravix name has sort of felt dead to me ever since I figured out there was an actual company called "Aravix", though. I think it's some German auto-part website, I'm not really that sure.
